The band, founded in 2012, offers an original musical crossover that blends the charm of gypsy jazz, Mediterranean melodies and Latin rhythms, all with the explosive energy of rock. The show is enhanced by the skillful use of electronic and electric sounds, which add depth and modernity to their sound.
The result is a show that alternates acoustic sounds with a cinematic flavor. Experimental and contemporary soundscapes create an immersive experience for the audience, complete with storytelling, virtuosity and interactivity.
Inspired by cinema and soundtracks, their compositions have become part of important film productions such as “Fabrizio De André and PFM: a rediscovered concert” and “Vicini di casa”.
In connection with the world of film and film making, UNDER THE STARS OF CINEMA is dedicated to and uniquely reinterprets cinematic soundtracks which are enriched by the addition of Roberto Cannillo’s accordion to create an evocative journey between images and sounds.
