SALVATION 2332 The Last Song is an improvised musical narrative that celebrates the power of emotions and their intertwining. The strength of rebirth lies entirely in the relationships between people, in all their sounds, in all their cries, in all their timbres. It’s a hymn to diversity, in search of a luminous harmony. In this unprecedented performance, we will try to enter the world of Salvation, of Hivy and its inhabitants, traveling through different stages; a prologue and an epilogue, two small scenic moments in which to frame the narrative. As in a novel, a common object – such as the smartphone – is the impetus for the action from which the story is released and then brought to a closure. Seven circle-songs, seven group vocal improvisations coordinated by Soundteller Albert Hera. The Song penetrates the word and goes beyond, to touch the raw flesh of emotions. If narratives are the vehicle to carry forward this unusual presentation, then
The Salvation concert is: “Going where emotions vibrate”.
On the same day, Albert Hera will hold a MASTERCLASS dedicated to the choir members who will participate in the evening concert together with him and the other musicians. The participants will be guided in experimenting with the language of circle-songs – designed to stimulate the imagination and offer a full immersion in the sound world of Salvation.
This is an artistic process that happens in front of the audience’s eyes, with whom an intimate and complicit dialogue is created. It is a modern way of singing stories, where not only the verbal dimension creates a narrative: here the song allows us to enter beneath the plot of words, breaking them down to the smallest elements.
