Sara Tinti: voice, percussion
Roberto Bartoli: double bass
Lorenzo Tosarelli: piano, percussion
Sconfini is a chamber concert for voice, piano, and double bass that primarily explores
new compositional forms where, between baroque and contemporary sounds and styles, the creative and improvisational methods of new jazz currents find ample space.
The project consists entirely of original compositions and strives to be deliberately outside any musical definition. The compositional aspect is of great importance, as are the moments of improvisation; spontaneous collective creativity.
The poetic texts are drawn from poems and writings by Dareen Tatour, Heba Abu Nada, Marwan Makhoul, Palestinian poets from Gaza, as well as Italo Calvino, Roberto Bartoli, Juan Carlos Galeano, and Vinicius de Moraes.
Sconfini speaks of life and love, of stolen and violated lands, of the desperate search for what is not yet a hellish existence. Sconfini also addresses ourselves.

The concert at Salecina is an excellent opportunity to take an excursion in the enchanting landscape of the Engadine. A visit to the Pro Natura Center and the glacial potholes in the Belvedere Tower park is truly interesting. From there you can take a pleasant walk to Salecina where AmbriaJazz awaits you.
In collaboration with Bregaglia Maloja Turismo, at 15:00 there will be a guided tour leaving from the Maloja post office and ending in Salecina in time for the concert. Feel free to join if you’d enjoy learning about the area and to know more about the concert.
If you’re brave enough, try arriving in Salecina from Chiareggio located in Valmalenco by passing the Passo del Muretto.
However, the true green action is to use public transport! Yes, in Switzerland the Postal Bus service is also available on Sundays and takes you comfortably from Chiavenna to Maloja. At this link you will find information on costs and schedules.
